Eric Stumpf is an award-winning screenwriter. Amputee placed in the top 15% of the Academy Nicholl Fellowships and won the Golden Reel Award at Shockfest, where both Amputee and There Were People on Sunday were official selections. There Were People on Sunday was an American Zoetrope quarterfinalist, and The Taken reached the quarterfinals of the Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Screenplay Competition.
He has developed features, pilots, series bibles, and pitch decks for production companies across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He currently writes for Beyond the Court, an NBA-focused YouTube channel with 263K+ subscribers, and provides script consulting built around deep story analysis and practical, actionable notes.
Stumpf began at Nickelodeon Studios as an associate producer, segment producer, and stage manager—writing scripts, booking talent, producing field material, and keeping fast-moving shoots on schedule. That production foundation still shapes the work: ambitious on the page, practical on set, and collaborative under pressure.
